This is a 1995 video shot in a room decorated for Christmas (there's a big decorated tree, presents, decorations, the whole 9 yards). Joannie is the only excerciser and she does it all to Christmas music. The intention of the tape, according to the box and Joannie's intro is to give you a fun workout to do between Thanksgiving and Christmas to keep your stress level down and keep you from gaining weight. […] Joannie is perky and slighlty grating at certain parts, but she is obviously trying to be upbeat and praise you for working out during this hectic time (one of the moves she talks about is to mimic holding holiday food trays!). But the music is great! There is certainly something to be said for working out to Rudolph in the August heat and humidity. — videofitness.com

Two well-structured programs for anyone who's just starting to work out or who “fell off the fitness wagon.” Kelly combines easy-to-follow exercises with lots of intensity options and sincere encouragement (“just 30 minutes, you can do this”). The first program begins with a varied mix of athletic-style cardio favorites (always offering a “base” move if you get tired or distracted). That's followed by an aero/tone segment that builds muscle as it burns fat. The toning workout features alternating sets of proven body-sculpting classics (e.g. curls, lunges, push-ups). It starts with standing routines and ends with floorwork. Requires 2 to 5 lb. dumbbells.

Kelly Coffey-Meyer's 30 Minutes to Fitness: Slim Sculpting is geared toward improving your fitness level using only a kettlebell or a single dumbbell. It's important to note that using a kettlebell really does amp up the workout! Both workouts require great form and precise execution: there are no over-the-top positions and no over-stressing impact on the joints. All the controlled moves demonstrated are geared toward slimming down your hips and outer thighs, trimming your waistline, tightening your glutes, sculpting your arms and burning lots of calories! But remember: form is crucial! Because the selection of exercises target each muscle group without over-taxing your body, these workouts fit in nicely with my philosophy that everyone should train smarter!
