In zijn hilarische voorstelling "Wortels" neemt Klaas van der Eerden het publiek mee naar zijn roots. Opgegroeid in de jaren zeventig in een boerengehuchtje boven Amsterdam in een hippiegezin; laat het maar aan Klaas over om daar met zijn grappige verhalen, typetjes en improvisaties compleet op los te gaan. "Wortels zit boordevol originele vondsten met een hoge grapdichtheid" schreef het AD dan ook. En De Volkskrant had genoten van de "smakelijke verhalen" en noemde Wortel "een vermakelijk en zinnig programma". En dan hebben we het nog niet eens gehad over de zeer komische, muzikale hoogstandjes waarmee Klaas zijn publiek steeds weer verbaast. Conclusie: een energieke volbloed entertainer die zich iedere avond voor de volle 100% geeft en daarmee iedere zaal uit z'n dak laat gaan!
