The Lord of Milan is a documentary produced by LeftLion. If tells the story of Herbert Kilpin, who was born in Nottingham in 1870. He worked at the Adams Building in the Lace Market as a Lace assistant, before moving to Italy in the 1890s. From there he went on to found European football giants AC Milan. The film was inspired by Nottingham author Robert Nieri’s novel of the same name. Robert stars in the film alongside former AC Milan players Daniele Massaro, Giovanni Lodetti, Luther Blissett and Mark Hateley. The film also follows the journey of AC Milan historian Luigi La Rocca and his friends Pierangelo Brivio and Enrico Tosi as they make a pilgrimage to Herbert’s old haunts in Nottingham. Druga linija aka The Other Line is a product of many years of research of neo-avant-garde cultural and art scene in Novi Sad, Serbia (late 60s and 70s), which has been marginalized until today. This artistic movement was directly connected not only with important art centers of the former Yugoslavia, but also with existing flows of world art during its brief and productive activities (7e Biennale de Paris, 19th Berlinale). The cultural and artistic emancipation of that time had implied individual freedom of expression and strong reaction to established boundaries. This avant-garde movement had become threat to communist establishment, the authors' work were sabotaged, the films were sealed off, five artists were taken to trial, two were sent in prison. How is it that the retrograde mechanism of shutting down and removing the most creative and representative progressive impulses of our surrounding is still so current to this day?

Through interviews with his mother, two brothers, wife, and ex-girlfriends, as well as selections from his vast quantity of graphic art, we are treated to a darkly comic ride through one man's subconscious mind.

But Giacobbe was not just anyone; alone he started his own fight against addiction, beginning to box “in order to lose weight”. Berlinized lets the former protagonists reflect how that temporary feeling of freedom shaped their individual lives, and to what degree that freedom can still be found among the neat order of today's Berlin. Their Spike & Mike festival had an enormous impact on animation that was felt the world over. The festival was known as much for the breakthrough animation it presented as the outrageous antics of the founders.

Cacaso filled notebooks not only with poems but reflections, drawings and collages. He also became a lyricist and partner of celebrated songwriters such as Tom Jobim, Edu Lobo, Toninho Horta, João Donato and Sivuca.
