Recently, several teenagers were found dead with no leads and nothing other than several bizarre pieces of evidence. The Spade County Massacre, as it came to be called remained a mystery. Sheriff Stone Williams' investigation concluded the murders were committed by Charlie Zorborski, a disturbed teenager who died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Today, Sheriff Stone Williams searches for answers to new bizarre and grisly crimes have resurfaced in Spade County. While the sheriff's department has no answers, the public fears The Order of Attollo has returned, others point the finger at Doug Porter. Porter, who has become an outcast, is forced to make a decision. He must either finally leave Spade County once and for all or prove his innocence.

A comic and episodic satire, the film uses improvisation to illustrate the clash between fantasy and reality in real life. Although conceived in the style of Mekas’ “Hallelujah the hills” (1962), it’s an authentically Israeli satire, an openly rebellious and individualistic expression that poked fun at the sacred myths of earlier zionist films. The technique of film within the film is used to portray cinema as reflection of the imagination, a miracle based on dreams and fantasies that take on concrete characteristics – parallel to the miracle of Israel, the dream that has become reality. Although not a commercial success, its importance is beyond any measure, though it remains a unique experiment, boldly uncommercial and subversive, out of any context in that patriotic, ideological epoch.

Eugenio's Close Up: Inside the Slums of Buenos Aires A professional photographer seeks to infuse his Buenos Aires slum with art, creativity and free expression. As with so many of the marginalised shanty towns of Latin America, there is a wellspring of violence and economic despair. Caught in the ever-shifting instability of Argentina's economy, there is little chance that these slums will be transformed or that their residents will be able to easily escape the country's cyclical poverty. Despite this for Eugenio, a 32-year-old photographer who still calls the slum of Villa 15 his home, there is a persistent richness to the life around him, and hope.
