Ambient Chaconne(en)
A time-lapse animated meditation on geothermal energy, erosion, seismic activity and magma. Shot above the Yellowstone Caldera and amongst the Bryce Canyon hoodoos, the film explores how they connect these past cataclysms to the present endangered environment within the sixth mass extinction and future threats to an ecosystem already in collapse. The musical accompaniment, composed and performed by Pauline Kim Harris, is based on a reimagining of the Chaconne from the Partita No.2 in D minor (BWV 1004) by Johann Sebastian Bach.

Cuticule(xx)
Violette lives in an apartment with her boyfriend. A tension has long driven them apart, the dialogue seems worn-out. While she is in the bathroom brushing her teeth, Violette is called out by a strange silhouette which looks right at her through the drain (of the sink): a living finger, which has taken up residence in the pipes. The finger seems to show itself only when Violette is alone. Her boyfriend, who seems now to hold nothing more than contempt for her, is no source of support. Refusing to tolerate the strange creature's intrusion, she is going to make every effort to put an end to this psychosis. But are things more real than we might think?

Throughout the film, painful experiences make room for a more positive perspective, such as the overwhelming sense of connection with millions of other queer individuals worldwide or the freedom that arises as one can relinquish certain expectations. This so-called ‘queer-joy’ is being discovered, providing inspiring and moving insights.
