Upon learning that the parents of "Little Red" have died, the cowboys of Colonel Ferdinand Aliso's ranch adopt the boy. Parson Jones and his church committee protest that the child should be brought up in more refined surroundings, but the cowboys, particularly Duck Sing, Aliso's Chinese cook, are so enamored of Little Red that they donate their poker money to the church to placate the congregation. After Little Red catches pneumonia and nearly dies, however, Dr. Kirk insists that the boy either live with the minister or acquire a mother through the marriage of one of the cowboys. While Little Red is recuperating at the parson's home, ranch hand Tom Gilroy courts the only marriageable women in town -- a widow and two spinsters -- but much to his relief, they all turn him down. In the end, Duck Sing and the colonel join forces and legally adopt him.

Mr. Bunny meets boarding house owner Mrs. Sweet and goes to her home for a bit of harmless flirtation. Meanwhile Mrs. Bunny insists Betty move and by happenstance they head to Mrs. Sweet’s. Mr. Bunny tries to hide from them and many comic situations ensue.
Daisy Manners, a member of the Phi Beta Kappa sorority, has a bad habit of taking her sorority sisters' things without asking, leaving notes instead. The other girls, fed up with Daisy, decide to teach her a lesson when they hear she's going to a garden fête with Phil Matthews. Daisy goes to her roommates' rooms to borrow items (like a dress, hat, etc.), but finds they've all been hidden or moved by the other girls, leading to funny mix-ups and Daisy's growing frustration. The sisters reveal their prank, and Daisy learns her lesson about borrowing, understanding the inconvenience she caused.
0.0Chronic liar Berenice Somers and her friend Alice, skip school to see a matinee, however, the two girls must think quickly when they see Alice's parents, Judge and Mrs. Altwold. Trying to escape, they run into the hotel room where young diplomat Cleverley Trafton is staying. Alice's parents find them, however, and are shocked that two young women would be in a man's room. Undaunted, Berenice says that she is Cleverley's wife, and that Alice simply had been visiting. Going from hostile to hospitable, the Altwolds then insist that Berenice and Cleverley stay with them. Cleverley is unable to argue his way out of the situation, and both he and Berenice are embarrassed at having to spend the night together. They soon realize, however, that they have come to like each other, and so, deciding to change Berenice's lie into the truth, they begin making plans for their marriage

Because of that memory Lloyd is drawn to Betty who is flattered despite her love for her neighbor Hal Edwards. Betty, realizing the situation, finds one of her mother’s old gowns and helps transform her appearance closer to her girlish self. Lloyd is swept away with renewed love and both couples happily paired with the proper partner.

Short sequences like this, as well as street scenes and dancing geisha girls were the main subjects of early Nippon cinema, pioneered by Shiro Asano and Shibata Tsunekichi from 1897 onwards. 0.0Samson Brown is a lazy and shiftless husband who lets his wife, Hannah, support the family. He is constantly insulted and annoyed by his in-laws, who live with them, and finally takes off for points unknown. At home, life goes on as usual with the exception of a former suitor who shows up to court Hannah when it is believed Samson is dead. While wandering around the desert Samson discovers a valuable radium deposit. The now-rich Samson plans to return home and sort out the family matters but first he buys a nightclub.

Her failure has evidently reached the ears of the members of the board of education, and a committee of the guardians of public instruction visits the school. and the shortcomings of Ruth, the teacher, are apparent. She is dismissed from her position in disgrace; a holiday is proclaimed. The children depart, and Ruth is alone in her sorrow and bitterness of her failure. Sorrowfully she dons her wraps and leaves the school room with its disappointing memories. Ruth then applies for the position of a stenographer in an office.
Don Alvarez travels to a Cuban fruit ranch where he falls for the owner's daughter, Edna. Jealous of foreman Cecil Abbott, Don steals a mail pouch and hides it in a palm tree, framing Cecil for theft and getting him fired. Don climbs the tree to get his own mail, falls, and is found by Cecil, to whom he confesses before dying, thus clearing Cecil's name.
