Overview
The peace of a small fishing village is shattered by the coming of a young, and stunningly beautiful, wife of a local guest-worker. There are touches of humor as Shinkai breaks all the commandments of a priest, including fighting, gambling, and running after women. All this leads to an awesome conclusion as he must destroy a gang of yakuza aided by corrupt priests. At first, because he is a wanted man, he refuses but does so later for the sake of the people even though he knows it will lead to his arrest.
