Overview
Backlash (2006) was a PPV which took place on April 30, 2006 at the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. It was presented by Topps. It was the eighth event under the Backlash name and featured wrestlers and other talent that performed on the Raw brand. The first main event was a Triple Threat match for the WWE Championship, which saw John Cena defend against challengers Triple H and Edge. The second main event was Shawn Michaels and "God" versus Vince and Shane McMahon in a No Holds Barred match. The third main event was a "Title versus Briefcase match" between Rob Van Dam (the Money in the Bank holder) and Shelton Benjamin (the Intercontinental Champion).

Mayura challenges an arrogant wrestler and defeats him. Though never formally trained he has only learned techniques of wrestling by observing others. As a Brahmin he is required to study Vedas yet he is deeply interested in martial arts. Ranga Jetti, the premier wrestler in Kanchi, takes him under his wing and trains him. One day while observing the training of Pallava princes Mayura gets into a fight with and thrashes Vishnugopa, the Pallava prince, earning his enmity. Mayura has to flee Kanchi as per the advice of Ranga Jetti to escape from pursuing Pallavas. He also then learns that he is in fact the son of Raja Chandravarma, the Kadamba king who was deceitfully killed by the Pallava king, Sivaskandhavarma. Upon learning of his illustrious lineage, Mayura dedicates himself to overthrow the Pallava yoke. Returning to Banavasi in the guise of a merchant Mayura builds an army and conquers both Banavasi and the Telugu speaking regions around Srishaila, thus building a vast kingdom.

TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs was a professional wrestling PPV which took place on December 15, 2013, at the Toyota Center in Houston. The main event was a title unification match between Randy Orton and John Cena in a TLC match for the WWE Championship and World Heavyweight Championship. The titles were hung above the ring with the winner (the first to retrieve them) winning the newly dubbed WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Also on the car was a 3 on 1 Handicap match between the Wyatt Family & Daniel Bryan, The Miz vs Kofi Kingston in a No DQ match, R-Truth vs Brodus Clay, Big E Langston defending the Intercontinental Championship against Damien Sandow, AJ Lee defending the Divas Championship against Natalya, CM Punk vs The Shield in a 3 on 1 Handicap match, and a Fatal Fourway Tag Team Elimination match for the WWE Tag Team Titles between defending champs Cody Rhodes & Goldust and The Real Americans, Big Show & Mysterio, and Ryback & Curtis Axel.

In 1983 World Class Championship Wrestling and its franchise stars, the Von Erich brothers, were known around the world. A small Dallas based promotion running out of a shack of a venue, the Sportatorium, World Class was one of the most syndicated television programs in America, making the Von Erichs household names. Run by legendary wrestler Fritz Von Erich, a.k.a. Jack Adkinsson, World Class made his oldest sons, Kevin, David and Kerry, three of hte biggest stars in the world of wrestling. Little did anyone know that just as the Von Erichs and World Class were reaching worldwide stardom they would begin a downfall that would cast a full eclipse on their meteoric rise to fame. The 2022 SummerSlam was the 35th annual SummerSlam professional wrestling event produced by WWE. It was held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. The event aired on pay-per-view (PPV) worldwide and was available to livestream through Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network internationally. WWE SummerSlam took place on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, and it was the first SummerSlam to not be held during the month of August. This was also the first WWE PPV event following the retirement of WWE owner Vince McMahon, who had served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company since 1982.
