"What is the meaning of life?". I posed this question almost daily a year ago, so I decided to get to the bottom of the mystery. I wanted to explore the world by my own power - on a bicycle. Untrained, I set off in June 2013 with over 55 kg of luggage and a video camera. 18,000 kilometers through a total of 22 countries with the goal of fulfilling a dream: the dream of absolute freedom and the discovery of our globe. Now experience together with me a really great adventure - a documentary that is not a script, but life itself. A unique challenge - with nature as an ally and the world as... opponent.

4500km around Central Europe | A CYCLING SHORT FILM(en)

In April 2025, I set off to cycle around Central Europe. I rode through 7 countries, crossed mountains, swam in lakes. I learnt about myself and the landscapes that I was travelling through. This short film chronicles some of the experiences I had.

As they head north to south, we'll take in some of Vermont's challenging climbs and learn a thing or two about beer along the way.

Nagaremono zukan is a documentary video, release from V&R Planning (AV). "Flower Picture Book" is the second work in the bicycle trilogy after Yumika. A very private sexual movie with Tomoko Matsunashi, right after Hirano broke up with Yumika. The violence of the camera is clearly increasing. If Yumika was the light, Nagaremono zukan is the shadow. There are two version of Nagaremono zukan, the censored one and the original hardcore one, with additional scenes, better quality and longer runtime.

Blood Road follows the journey of ultra-endurance mountain bike athlete Rebecca Rusch and her Vietnamese riding partner, Huyen Nguyen, as they pedal 1,200 miles along the infamous Ho Chi Minh Trail through the dense jungles of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. Their goal: to reach the site where Rebecca’s father, a U.S. Air Force pilot, was shot down in Laos more than 40 years earlier.

The story of four young people, ShinAe Ahn who is transgender, and three others, pan-sexual, gay, and lesbian respectively, who are fed up with the oppressive and authoritarian conservative government and its influence on the country. ShinAe Ahn decides to run for the office of prime minister, with the help of her friends and supporters. She meets a lot of caring people, and also a lot of haters. The current Prime Minister is not at all tolerant of the LGBTQIA+ community and is trying his hardest to stop any party that does not follow the orders of the conservative government from running without any logical reason to do so. That creates a political divide within the country, as politicians will attack anyone who is and/or who acts differently, or who stands up for people/themselves who they personally don't like. This story however is being told after the fact, a few years after the election, when ShinAe won as prime minister.

The film also broadens its scope to explore the overlooked, eclectic and often ultra-violent sub-genre THE FARMER belongs to - The Returning Veteran film. A film type that hit its stride in the 1970's with hard hitting character studies such as WELCOME HOME, SOLDIERS BOYS (1971), THE NO MERCY MAN (1973) and ROLLING THUNDER (1977).
