Danish film has never felt stronger on the international stage than it did with the Dogme films, which at the world premiere of 'The Party' and 'The Idiots' during the Cannes Film Festival in 1998 put Denmark on the film world map. "Retro Boom" is a documentary film shot in the period from 2013 to 2019, before COVID-19 pandemic. Filming takes place in the clubs: Vintage industrial Bar, Route 66, Pepermint, KSET, Johann Franck (all in Zagreb) and festivals in Medulin (Tear it up) , Zagreb (Zagreb Vintage Festival), Sveti Martin na Muri (Trash'n'burn). It is a film that brings a cross-section of an interesting retro scene that has existed in Croatia for years. In the last ten years, the vintage (retro) scene has expanded greatly among the young and among the middle generation, it can almost be said that it has become fashionable, but by no means mainstream. The film follows original rockabilly and rock'n'roll bands, fashion, clothes, pin-up girls, barbers, old furniture, old items, motorbikes and a lot more – all of it gathered through interviews and events of the past years.

A Day Longer Than Night(ka)

This somber story of love lost forever is set against the backdrop of the changes that Communism brought to the state of Georgia in the former USSR after the 1917 Revolution. Eva and Archil are deeply in love and they pledge to be with each other always. After they marry, Archil dies suddenly and Eva is left alone and childless. Along comes the ruthless Spiridon who romances Eva and marries her - though his cold and cruel spirit break Eva's naturally buoyant self, until she sullenly eats alone, and avoids intimacy with her husband as much as possible. They adopt a daughter, who does not take sides between her glum mother and silent father. When the Communist cadres enter their village to promote the ideals of the October revolution, Eva starts to warm to her husband a little because he joins in that movement. Then her husband commits the fatal error of revealing a previous crime - an error that will later cause their grown daughter to question her parents' strange behavior.
