Fernando Lascurain is a wealthy businessman and recent widower, attempting to raise his seven unruly children. He seeks the assistance of a new nanny. Although Ana lacks experience and a refined education, she quickly bonds with the Lascurain children. Ana dreams of being a mother, but when her home is destroyed following an accident, she must borrow money from her ruthless boss at "Chicago", the night club where she is secretly employed. Mi destino eres tú is a 2000 Mexican telenovela. It is a production of Carla Estrada and the protagonists were Lucero and Jorge Salinas.

Dame Chocolate (es)

Dame Chocolate is a 2007 Spanish-language telenovela, which was produced by the United States-based television network Telemundo and aired from March 5 until October 5, 2007. This limited-run serial stars Génesis Rodríguez as a sweet, simple girl who leaves rural Mexico for Miami in the US to fulfill her destiny in the chocolate business. Elements of this romantic soap opera resemble Ugly Betty, the Tammy films, The Beverly Hillbillies and No Holds Barred. Lionsgate Home Entertainment and Xenon Pictures released a four-disc DVD set of Dame Chocolate in the US on November 27, 2007. The abridged version runs over 13 hours. It includes English subtitles and carries a TV-PG rating.

It is a remake of the 1994 Colombian telenovela Café, con aroma de mujer, and was nominated for twelve Premios TVyNovelas of which it won ten including Best Telenovela of the Year.

Jorge Salinas and Danna García star as the protagonists, while Malillany Marin, Roberto Palazuelos, Marcelo Buquet, Salvador Pineda and Pablo Montero star as the antagonists.

Filming took place in Mexico City and Xochitepec in June 2009, and lasted approximately 7 months. The telenovela premiered on Univision in the United States on May 4, 2010.
