Their lives are particularly well reflected in the early morning scenes of salesmen asleep in the most peculiar places and in the most curious ways: leaning against a fence or a wall, sitting on the railway tracks.

The theme of the film is inspired by a composition by Ivo Malec "Miniatures for Lewis Carroll", and the dance is performed by the members of the Studio for Contemporary Dance who, in black suits and white surroundings, seem to float in the space captured by the eye of the camera.
