"Celso: a portrait, a place" is a documentary that emerges from a year of sporadic visits by the documentary filmmaker (until then a convinced agnostic) to the Capuchin complex, a block that is, among other things, a place to preserve the memory of the Capuchin friars in the Serra Gaúcha, southern Brazil. The daily life of the space and the ramblings of the charismatic friar and artist Celso Bordignon are interspersed in an attempt to contemplate aspects of religious life, art, and the awareness of the nuances of the action of time on matter, body and spirit.

The film explores the long-term consequences of war and genocide in an attempt to understand the social, cultural, and historical context and experiences of rural villagers who seek out and dismantle UXO (unexploded ordnance) for profit. Part of a global economy, these individuals clear UXO from their land in order to protect their families from harm and to earn enough money to survive. Bomb Hunters is an eye-opening account investigating the on-going residual, persistent effects of war experienced by post-conflict nations around the globe, and the complex realities of achieving "peace".

Their paths cross in a tale of justice, pain, and redemption. Inspired by Ariano Suassuna, famed for "A Dog’s Will", this short film is a prelude to "A Pena e a Lei", created by 9th-grade students from Escola SESI Cambona, in Maceió, Brazil. It was screened at the SESI Festival of Art and Culture in July 2023, touching audiences with its emotional and socially conscious narrative.

From Rio’s samba jazz transported to the streets of Conjunto São Pedro in Fortaleza to Baião meeting the productions of the Neptunes, the artist understands old musical proposals as dreams of possible futures, pillars in the construction of a country whose work remains unfinished. Digging through these ruins and working their echoes in the present, he dares to envision another future. The exercises of imagining the past that haunt us have been exhumed and rebuilt. While this unfolds sonically, Don L’s pen reinforces: the Global South is what matters. Don scrutinizes the aspirations of what it means to be Latin American nowadays, in a world where virtually all experiences are heavily filtered by the internet and those in power. Territorial construction is also mental, provoking the listener by repeating, in new terms, the question: how much of your dreams was advertising?
