This film deals with the physical properties of the film medium, and pushing those distinctive features to their limit. The subject of the film is motion, and it is an attempt to get inside of it. It was made with a moving subject and a moving camera with an open shutter, the result being that each frame is unique, without the smooth continuity that is expected in film. The subject, a female body at close range, provides an intimacy and eroticism. At the same time it can be seen as a modern version of Futurist simultaneity.

The Swishing Sword(ja)

A beautiful girl who seeks revenge, disguises herself by dressing up in men's clothes, geisha, etc. A young swordsman helps her uncover the plot and take revenge.

Swishbucklers(en)

Swishbucklers is an offbeat comedy about three macho martial artists who join an all-gay production of The Three Musketeers in order to save their dojo. The trials and tribulations of our heroes give new meaning to the phrase, "All for one, and one for all!" Swordplay and jokes ensue amidst a touching story of friendship and tolerance.
