Eco Eye airs every Wednesday at 19:30, with the 2009 series being the sixth of its kind overall. The 2009 series also entered Northern Ireland for the very first time when it examined important cross border issues such as shared waters, transboundary waste problems and tourism in Northern Ireland. Ryan was an Australian adventure television series screened by the Seven Network from 27 May 1973. The series was produced by Crawford Productions and had a run of 39 one hour episodes. The title character was a dashing private investigator played by Rod Mullinar. Ryan's assistant was played by New Zealand-born actor Pamela Stephenson, soon to leave for England and a successful television career. Other regular characters were Tony Angelini, a taxi driver and Ryan's regular informant, while Detective Cullen was Ryan’s main liaison with the police force. Ryan was shot entirely on film and in colour with an eye to potential international sales. An initial sale of 39 episodes to the Seven Network recouped only 55% of the series' relatively high production costs. An international sale was therefore crucial to the show's continued feasibility.

Whoops Apocalypse (en)

Whoops Apocalypse is a six-part 1982 British sitcom by Andrew Marshall and David Renwick, made by London Weekend Television for ITV. Marshall and Renwick later reworked the concept as a 1986 film of the same name from ITC Entertainment, with almost completely different characters and plot, although one or two of the original actors returned in different roles. The series has a big cult audience, and copies of videos are heavily sought after. The British budget label Channel 5 Video released a compilation cassette of all six episodes edited together into one 137-minute chunk in 1987. In 2010 Network DVD released both the complete, unedited series and the movie on a 2-DVD set entitled Whoops Apocalypse: The Complete Apocalypse.. John Otway also recorded a song called "Whoops Apocalypse", which was used as the theme song for the film. He occasionally performs it live.

Shun is a third generation descendant of a Japanese orphan left behind in China during World War II. Takeru is a lonely and reckless young man whose family was murdered when he was a child. Shun, Takeru and Kasumi, who has an equally troubled past and background, become collaborators after being hired by Kuchinawa in a police undercover operation to take on a drug cartel in a Chinatown. The drama follows their ability to work together and grow individually.

The Old Grey Whistle Test is an influential BBC2 television music show that ran from 1971 to 1987. It took over the BBC2 late night slot from "Disco Two", which had been running since January 1970, while continuing to feature non-chart music. It was devised by BBC producer Rowan Ayers. According to presenter Bob Harris, the programme derived its name from a Tin Pan Alley phrase from years before. When they got the first pressing of a record they would play it to people they called the old greys—doormen in grey suits. The songs they could remember and whistle, having heard it just once or twice, had passed the old grey whistle test.
