This limited-run serial stars Génesis Rodríguez as a sweet, simple girl who leaves rural Mexico for Miami in the US to fulfill her destiny in the chocolate business. Elements of this romantic soap opera resemble Ugly Betty, the Tammy films, The Beverly Hillbillies and No Holds Barred. Lionsgate Home Entertainment and Xenon Pictures released a four-disc DVD set of Dame Chocolate in the US on November 27, 2007. The abridged version runs over 13 hours. It includes English subtitles and carries a TV-PG rating.

Sortilegio is a Mexican telenovela produced by Carla Estrada for Televisa and stars Jacqueline Bracamontes and William Levy. It is a remake of Tú o nadie. From October 6, 2009 to February 17, 2010, Univision broadcast Sortilegio weeknights at 9pm/8c. From July 30 to September 7, 2012, Univision broadcast 2 hour reruns of Sortilegio weekdays at 1pm/12c, replacing Corazón Apasionado. From September 10 to October 19, 2012, reruns of Sortilegio were broadcast at 2pm/1c.

The Julekalender was a Danish TV series that ran at Christmas 1991. X Factor is a Polish talent show based on a British show The X Factor and broadcast on TVN. The first series premiered on 6 March 2011. On 27 November 2010 during the final of the third series of Poland's Got Talent Marcin Prokop confirmed that the auditions would be held in January 2011. That was also the first public statement from TVN about X Factor. The main prize is PLN100,000 funded by Apart and a recording contract with label Sony Music.
