Tragically, Dr. Oregar and his efforts are dematerialized as the Catsharks, loyal subjects of Nova, steal this new technology for their own devious plans. Miraculously chosen as the next Polymar, Takeshi finds himself thrust into the middle of the battleground, as he discovers his new role and purpose - to destroy Nova and his followers. He utilizes his karate skills comprised of spinning kicks and backfists with flight formula to defeat the Catsharks, only to have them re-emerge stronger then ever, led by the shrewd Nina. Once she gets Polymar out of the picture - Nova will be free to proceed with his insidious plan. It is a race against time, for Takeshi to save the Earth

Akira Akebono, a young boy who is competing in a robot tournament where many of the robots are capable of transforming into animal forms. Akira wants to win the ultimate prize, the Titan Belt, with the help of his group of robots, all of which are capable of forming into the robot Daigunder. Daigunder is the creation of Akira's father, Professor Hajime Akebono. Together with a girl named Haruka, they compete under the name of Team Akira. However, Team Akira faces opposition from not only their competition, but a robot named Ginzan who is under the control of the evil Professor Maelstrom. Created by Aeon and Takara and animated by Animation Studio Brain's Base, the series aired in TV Tokyo from April 2002 to December 2002.

A love story interwoven between Sakuraba Isumi, a short, baby-faced university student who is a great cook, and Amasawa Kyosuke, a tall, sincere police officer with a natural, easygoing charm. Twenty-year-old Isumi is mistaken for a minor and nearly gets taken into custody by Amasawa. Later, Isumi runs into Amasawa again at the convenience store where he works part-time. From then on, every time they meet, Amasawa asks for recommendations for late-night snacks. Concerned about Amasawa's eating habits, Isumi offers, "How about I come over and cook for you?" Visiting Amasawa's home, they grow closer through home-cooked meals.

Spoons was a comedy sketch show first broadcast on the United Kingdom's Channel 4 from 30 September 2005. In the United States, Spoons is broadcast on BBC America. The relationship themed show combined recent trends in sketch shows — dark content, strong language, and recurring catchphrases. It was produced by Endemol owned production company, Zeppotron. Channel 4 didn't recommission the show for second series due to low ratings and bad reviews. The programme appeared at around the same time as two other similar sketch series based on relationships - Five's Swinging and BBC Three's Man Stroke Woman.
