Paris (en)
Paris is an American television series that appeared on the CBS television network from September 29, 1979 to January 15, 1980. A crime drama, the show is notable as the first-ever appearance of renowned actor James Earl Jones in a lead role on television and was created by Steven Bochco, who later achieved fame for Hill Street Blues and NYPD Blue, also served as executive producer. The program told the story of Los Angeles Police Captain Woody Paris, who supervised a team of young detectives. The rookie investigators were led by Sergeant Stacy Erickson and included officers Charlie Bogart, Ernesto Villas, and Willie Miller. Hank Garrett portrayed Deputy Chief Jerome Bench, Paris' superior, and, in an unusual turn for police dramas of that era, Paris' home and off-duty life was given considerable attention in the plots, with Lee Chamberlin playing his wife, Barbara. Paris was also shown moonlighting as a professor of criminology at a local university. Although Paris was critically acclaimed for its portrayal of the tension between the professional Paris character and his often impetuous underlings, CBS scheduled the show in one of the worst possible timeslots on a weekly schedule: Saturdays at 10 p.m./9 Central. All three networks debuted new shows for the 1979-80 season in that slot; only ABC's Hart to Hart survived its first 13 weeks. Toward the end of its run, CBS moved it to Tuesdays at 10/9, but to no avail. Edward DeBlasio produced the show for MTM Enterprises, which would unveil, during the next season, executive producer Bochco's landmark Hill Street Blues, on NBC.

Monthai had this friendly and loving nature in him. a distance relative of his also fell in love with him. her name was Lakana. he was friendly to her but she avoided him. and he wondered why. the truth was that his mother had called her lots of names connected to him. calling her a leech just wanting to mooch off of her family's fortune, ect. Piachat also lived nearby. her grandmother wasn't wealthy. they sold vegetables and other things to survive. she was very found of a tree called Asoke. she spotted one in Monthai's yard and went over to pick some. at the moment that she arrived Vichada and Monthai were sharing a sweet moment as both were informed about their engagement. Monthai stopped his mother as Lakana raced to her room. hours later after being so ashamed of Monthai's mother words Lakana killed herself. she slit her throat. Monthai was mad and ashamed that this was caused by his mother and he too blamed her. and so he decided that he would go to Australia to finish his studies. Vichada was upset that he was going but he said he would only be gone four years. she wanted something for him to remember her by so she gave him a picture of her. earlier her sister [Paa] said that her writing was like chicken scratch compared to Piachat. so she had Piachat write the message [for Monthai only, love Vichada] on the back of the picture. Monthai was having a party for his leaving and he also invited Piachat and bought her a dress cause she had nothing to wear.

Wichita Town (en)
Wichita Town is a half-hour western television series starring Joel McCrea, Jody McCrea, Carlos Romero, and George Neise that aired on NBC from September 30, 1959, until April 6, 1960. Joel McCrea played Marshal Mike Dunbar, in charge of keeping the peace the booming cowtown of Wichita, Kansas. His deputies were Ben Matheson, played by McCrea's real life son, Jody, and Rico Rodriquez, portrayed by Carlos Romero. Making occasional appearances were the town doctor, Nat Wyndham, the blacksmith, Aeneas MacLinahan, and the bartender in the local saloon, Joe Kingston, played in six episodes by Robert Foulk. The model for shows such as these had already been laid out by other western programs such as Gunsmoke, Lawman, and The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp, so Wichita Town may not have been unique in its plotting and structure. The two most unusual features about the series were the presence of Joel McCrea, a favorite of Western movie audiences for his performance in such films as Union Pacific, Buffalo Bill, and Ramrod, and the fact that his real life son was in Wichita Town, but did not play his son. Wichita Town was produced by Mirisch Company and Joel McCrea's Production company for Four Star Television and aired for a single season.
