Overview
In each episode of this fun-filled game show, two families go head to head in a livingroom-style studio where they must duke it out through a series of trivia-based and enjoyable challenges. Teammates are friends, family, colleagues or even neighbours and although things may seem casual, the battle is no joke. Each team that participates gets R1,500 and there are also big cash prizes at stake.

Michael Moore Live, a 1999 television show featuring political advocate Michael Moore, ran for one six-part series. It was shown on Channel 4 and aired in the United Kingdom only, though it was broadcast from New York. The show had a similar format to The Awful Truth but also incorporated phone-ins and a live stunt each week. It was filmed around 7pm local time, which due to the time difference made it a late-night show in the UK. The live phone-ins all featured UK viewers, and questions were mainly about American policy at the time, e.g. gun control and the war in Kosovo. Each week, Moore was joined by guests, and one of the regulars was an illegal UK alien in the USA named Nigel. Throughout the show, he had to wear a rubber Queen Elizabeth II mask to hide his true identity.

Mio Mao (it)
Mio Mao, also known as Mio and Mao, is an Italian-British children's TV show produced by Misseri Studios, HiT Entertainment & Mad Mouse Productions, L+H Films, Cartoonito and Channel 5. The series was produced using Claymation animation. The first series of Mio Mao was aired from 1974 to 1976. New episodes were produced in late 2005 in association with Channel 5, followed by yet another series of episodes in 2009. The music was composed by Piero Barbetti. In the U.K., the episodes are narrated by Derek Griffiths and shown on Channel 5, and its sister channel, 5*. Ghost Lab is a weekly American paranormal television series that premiered on October 6, 2009, on the Discovery Channel. Produced by Paper Route Productions and Go Go Luckey Entertainment, the program is narrated by Mike Rowe. It follows ghost-hunting brothers Brad and Barry Klinge, who founded Everyday Paranormal in October 2007. Everyday Paranormal is a paranormal investigation team whose stated mission is to "visit the most haunted places in America, find evidence, and test new theories to probe the existence of the afterlife" using a fringe-scientific approach. In addition to Brad and Barry, the team included members Steve Harris, Hector Cisneros, and Katie Burr. Other members included Jason Worden, Ashlee Lehman, and Steve Hock. Ghost Lab remains the name of EP's mobile command center. On October 14, 2009, Brad and Barry Klinge were interviewed on The Pat & Brian Show about the origins of Everyday Paranormal, current investigations, and equipment use. On October 30, 2009, Larry King interviewed the brothers via satellite on CNN's Larry King Live.
