Created by chairman Nick Cannon, the show is similar to other awards shows, such as CNN's Heroes award. The HALO Awards "...flips the script and features today’s biggest celebrities giving out the awards instead of receiving them,” said Marjorie Cohn, Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Development of Nickelodeon. It profiles four teens who are usually seniors in high school or has just started college, that sacrificed themselves to better the lives of others.

A new season of Yo-kai Watch focusing on elementary schooler Keita Amano again. The events take place right after the original season; but still chronologically occur before the now complete Shadow Side events as they take place 30 years in the future.

Bug Alert (en)

Bug Alert is a British Children's television series, first shown on GMTV in 1996. It featured the antics of a range of bug-like characters who lived in the kitchen of an unnamed house. These creatures apparently only came out when the resident humans were "not about." In the third and final series the characters moved out of the house and opened a somewhat seedy restaurant where they set about serving Weasel Curry to their regular clientele. 78 episodes were made in total and are repeated regularly on GMTV. After the first two series the show format was bought by Channel 4 which commissioned 26 further episodes. These, and the previous series, were aired in their weekend morning slot. The show was characterised by its somewhat adult references and themes, most of which went way above the heads of watching children. The 78 30-minute scripts were co-written by the director Peter Eyre and the main puppeteer, Francis Wright. The executive producer was Catherine Robins of Two Sides TV.

The Yule Log is a television program which is broadcast traditionally on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning, originally by New York City television station WPIX but now by many other Tribune Company-owned television stations, including WGN America, and by Antenna TV starting in 2011. A radio simulcast of the musical portion was broadcast by associated station WPIX-FM until 1988. The program, which has been two to four hours in duration, is a film loop of a yule log burning in a fireplace, with a traditional soundtrack of classic Christmas music playing in the background. It is broadcast without commercial interruption.
