Mouth to Mouth is a 2009 comedy-drama television series written by Karl Minns and broadcast on BBC Three. A successful pilot episode of the programme had been broadcast in 2008, starring the same female cast as the full series but no males and with a significantly different story. Each of the six episodes follow a monologue structure where each of the main characters describe their life around the same date. As the series progresses the viewer discovers how each of the lives are interwoven. On the surface the script has some fine humorous moments but underlying it deals with some serious issues.

Dark River, the most mysterious assassin organization in the martial arts world, is composed of three families: Su, Xie, and Mu. The highest ruler of the three families is known as the TOP Leader. The top leader is currently suffering from a strange poison and is at the brink of death. Upon learning the news, the three families of Dark River seized the opportunity to launch a rebellion. Su Muyu, also known as Kui, the head of the Spider Shadow, the guardian squad of the top leader, sought out the divine doctor Bai Hehuai from the Medicine King Valley to cure him while also fending off the assassins from the other families to protect him. However, Su Changhe, his close friend in Dark River, has joined the assassination plot against the top leader on behalf of the Su family.

Detective Kunes has a problem once again: he's lambasted the boyfriend of his ex-wife, and is threatened with dismissal from the police service. His high-ranking (female) boss has a solution for him: "removing" him on an internships in a back-of-beyond borderland region. But there's a fly in the ointment. His real mission is to unravel the two-year old case of the murder of policewoman Wágnerová, the investigation of which has reached an impasse. But the crime rate in the borderlands is one of the highest in the whole country - involving smuggling, drug production, poaching, prostitution and murders. Kunes has to deal with one difficult case after another, and it takes quite some time before he can start doing what he's sent to do, and then he does it in fact by coincidence.

Ike: Countdown to D-Day is a 2004 American television film originally aired on the American television channel A&E, directed by Robert Harmon and written by Lionel Chetwynd. Tom Selleck portrays General Dwight D. Eisenhower, US Army, popularly known by his nickname of "Ike". The film deals with the difficult decisions he made leading to up to D-Day, including dealing with the varied personalities of his command: General Omar N. Bradley, US Army, Lieutenant General George S. Patton, Jr., US Army, General Bernard Montgomery, 1st Viscount Montgomery of Alamein, British Army and General Charles De Gaulle, Free French. The film does not have action sequences, focusing instead on the inner workings of Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force that led to the successful D-Day invasion of World War II. Concentrating on decisions actually made by Eisenhower and the pressures brought to bear on him personally, it includes his personal relationship with British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and his own Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Walter Bedell Smith, US Army. The film is also notable for being the only major production in which General Montgomery's portrayal concentrates on his role as a competent military professional, instead of focusing on his alleged personality disorders, while still showing his egocentricity and foibles. General Patton's complex personality is also outlined in a very brief set of scenes played by Gerald McRaney.
