Gönülçelen is inspired by Bernard Shaw's play 'Pygmalion' and its film adaptation 'My Fair Lady'. The series transports the scene to Istanbul where both Murat and Hasret, the two main characters, live. Murat is thirty years old and a successful musician and music educator who was born and raised in Istanbul. He comes from a long line of respected, rich and noble people. The female protagonist Hasret - on the other hand - was born and raised in one of Istanbul's most impoverished neighborhoods. She is a free spirited young woman with a 'foul' mouth. Hasret makes her living by selling flowers and occasionally singing in a band. Murat hears potential in her untrained voice and takes it upon himself to teach her the secrets of music by giving her a classical training.

E:60 is a weekly investigative journalism newsmagazine show. It premiered on ESPN on October 16, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. ET, 4:00 p.m. PT. The show is one hour long. E:60 covers stories that relate to both American and international sports. Reporters from the network interview those surrounding the stories, and they also discuss what was involved in covering the stories. Many of the stories' subjects are of a serious nature, such as a story featured on the premiere show about Jason Ray, the student who portrayed the North Carolina Tar Heels' mascot Ramses, being killed after he was struck by a car. The day before Tomoki’s wedding day, he is falsely accused of sexual harassment. Due to the false accusation, he loses his job and his fiance leaves him. Tomoki decides to kill himself. While standing on the ledge of a rooftop building, he sees a woman running toward him and screaming. She is attacked by a man with a knife. Tomoki becomes involved and gets stabbed by the man, but it turns out the attack was a staged event and Tomoki was not really stabbed. Tomoki learns that the staged event is called "enijya," which takes place upon a client's request. This is the first time he hears of eniya. Tomoki decides to hire Aika to take revenge on people who falsely accused him of sexual harassment.

Destilando Amor is a 2007 Mexican telenovela produced by Televisa and Nicandro Díaz. It stars Angélica Rivera and Eduardo Yáñez as the main protagonists and was set primarily in Tequila, Jalisco. It is a remake of the 1994 Colombian telenovela Café, con aroma de mujer, and was nominated for twelve Premios TVyNovelas of which it won ten including Best Telenovela of the Year.

Free for All is a 2003 animated series that aired on Showtime. The series was created by Brett Merhar. It followed the day-to-day life of Johnny Jenkins, an innocent 19-year-old college kid who has to deal with a bitter, cigarette smoking grandmother and a coarse, sometimes-violent, alcoholic father, in a rather dysfunctional family. Also, he lives next door to Paula, the love of his life and the attractive girl next door. Clay Zeeman is his somewhat abusive so called "best friend" who won millions of U.S. dollars after he faked an accident at a taco restaurant. He has a drug-addicted ferret for a pet, and he's named Angus. Omar is his warm Indian friend, who is just as innocent as Johnny himself is. He may be even stupider on some level. The show was developed for television by Merriwether Williams, the head writer for seasons 1-4 of Spongebob Squarepants. WIlliams was also the show runner and head writer. There were seven episodes that aired over the summer of 2003, the last ending on a cliff-hanger. However, despite favorable reviews from critics, the show had very low ratings, mainly due to poor promotion and the fact that the original source material was not a huge success in the first place. Showtime cancelled the animated skein shortly after the last episode aired. The show has since fallen into extreme obscurity. No DVD/VHS/Laser Disc release has been announced yet. The entire series is available on iTunes and Amazon.com.

Esmeralda is a telenovela that was released by Televisa in 1997. It is a remake of a 1970 Venezuelan telenovela of that same name, and was itself remade in Brazil in 2004. Another version is Topacio from Venezuela in 1984. One of the most famous telenovela all the time.
