Highway Patrol was a syndicated, fictional police action series produced from 1955 to 1959, concerning the activities of the highway patrol and their leader, Dan Matthews (who held no rank). Although filmed in and around the Los Angeles area, the state setting for the stories was never identified, and city and street names were fictionalized.

Taxi Orange (en)

Taxi Orange was an alternative to the Big Brother reality soap, and it was quite popular in Austria. It was aired by the public television channel ORF. The idea was to lock up a group of people in a closed environment, who were allowed to leave only in an orange taxi driving passengers around, so they were still able to interact with the world outside. The habitat and the taxi interior were videotaped and used to produce a 30-minute daily summary, which was presented to the viewers. Each week, viewers elected a winner who had to decide on the exclusion of one colleague. The winner got 1 million Schilling. Two seasons were produced.

Samurai Gun is a manga series written and illustrated by Kazuhiro Kumagai and serialized in Weekly Young Jump. It was adapted into a 13-episode anime series directed by Hideki Sonoda. The anime is licensed in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Germany by ADV Films, which co-financed the series' production. There has been no announcement of the manga being translated into the English language. As the title suggests, it features samurai using guns.

Great Pretenders is an American half-hour television music game show on Fox Family that ran for about four seasons beginning in 1999. It is hosted by former pop trio Wild Orchid. On the show, teenagers lip sync and dance to their favorite songs for the chance to win prizes. Their performances are judged by a live studio audience. The program's slogan is, "They're the greatest singers... they're the greatest dancers...they're the greeeeat pretenders".
