American Reflexxx is a short film documenting a social experiment that took place in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Alli Coates filmed performance artist Signe Pierce as she strutted down a busy oceanside street in stripper garb and a reflective mask. The pair agreed not to communicate until the experiment was completed, but never anticipated the horror that would unfold in under an hour. The result is a heart wrenching technicolor spectacle that raises questions about gender stereotypes, mob mentality, and violence in America.

Highlighting the plight of women and LGBTQ citizens who are experiencing not only the rapid loss of their freedoms but what amounts to a fatwa when and if they dare to speak out against their government, the documentary aims to share the stories of Turkish citizens operating on the front lines in the battle for human rights, while expressing the need for art as a first line of defense against the totalitarianism that is quickly creeping westward.

Church & State is the improbable story of a brash, inexperienced gay activist and a tiny Salt Lake City law firm that joined forces to topple Utah’s gay marriage ban. We're Here to Stay: The History of Hands Off Washington and the Politics of Hate in Washington State(en)

In the 1990s, opponents of gay and lesbian rights put forward anti-gay initiatives patterned after Oregon's Measure 9. In response, supporters of gay and lesbian civil rights founded advocacy group Hands Off Washington. This documentary tells the story of Hands Off Washington, and of the struggle for gay and lesbian civil rights in Washington State.

Mondo Homo: Inquiry Into 70's Gay French Porn(fr)

Between 1975 and 1983 a new kind of film could be seen in French cinema: home-grown gay pornography. They were essentially the work of three production companies: Les Films de La Troika (Norbert Terry), AMT Productions (Anne-Marie Tensi) and Les Films du Vertbois (principally Jacques Scandelari). The genre met an untimely end with the advent of video, the last being made in 1983 'Mon Ami, Mon Amour (My Friend, my Lover)'.
