While traveling home by bus, he meets with Nanda, who has come to live in his neighborhood, and both are attracted to each other. One night Devdutt comes to the assistance to Bollywood movie actress Kalpana when her car breaks down, she finds out he is a poet and both are attracted to each other. Devdutt is asked to deliver a piano to the palatial house of a wealthy woman named Simi alias Radha Rani. She too is impressed by Devutt's poems and invites him over to her house for a party, and again both are attracted to each other. Knowing fully well that he cannot marry three women in his country, a tortured and uncertain Devdutt must now make up his mind as who he wants as his life-partner.

Sunita is a young woman who ends up married to the wrong man, Rajan. Thinking that he has conspired with his girlfriend, Monica to murder her, she runs away to find an old friend of her father's in Bangalore who may be able to help. Having no money, the only way she can get there is to join a traveling caravan. The crew of the caravan is Mohan, Mohan's sidekick Johnny, and Mohan's younger brother Monto. Along the way, the caravan crosses paths with a group of gypsies that includes some causal young men. Sunita soon falls in love with Mohan but Nisha is attracted to Mohan and this puts Sunita in danger again to make matters worse Rajan has conducted a manhunt to find Sunita either by hook or by crook.

Then she meets with local villager, Jhumroo, and both fall in love with each other. Jhumroo takes her home to introduce her to his mom, Kamla, who approves of her instantly. When Dwarka comes to know about this, he is enraged, and quickly announces her marriage with his Manager, Ramesh. Jhumroo is heart-broken and goes to meet with Anjana, who does tell him that she loves him, but must obey her father. What Jhumroo and Anjana do not know is that she is not Dwarka's daughter, but is the daughter of Kamla, and abducted at a very young age.

A painter, Karan, who is getting blur images of a girl is trying to produce it on canvas, he writes at the bottom of all the portraits 'Kahin Hai Mera Pyar' as a sign of his belief that his love exists somewhere! A businessman buys all portraits this provokes Karan's feeling and he opts to search for his love more vigorously as the story unfolds further.

Chandramohan studies in college, and has a sweetheart in the form of the gorgeous Asha. Asha lives with her mom, and dad, a sort of quack. Differences in the Baldev emerge and multiply. Baldev and Rekha move to their palatial house. The birth of a baby boy to Rekha does lighten things up a bit, but not for long. Dinanath loses his eyesight in an accident and becomes blind.
