When it turns out that the government has been using the bank as a hiding place for illegally detained political prisoners -- who are freed by the blast -- Miranda becomes a revolutionary hero against his will.

The Testament of Dr. Mabuse(de)

After a detective is assaulted by thugs and placed in an asylum run by Professor Baum, he observes the professor's preoccupation with another patient, the criminal genius Dr. Mabuse the hypnotist. When Mabuse's notes are found to be connected with a rash of recent crimes, Commissioner Lohmann must determine how Mabuse is communicating with the criminals, despite conflicting reports on the doctor's whereabouts, and capture him for good.

It consisted of having the men sit naked on flour to measure the circumference of their anus and the integrity of their morals. Unfortunately, this procedure is not limited to the past. Bolsonaro's ultra-homophobic government has attempted to introduce legislation similar to the infamous test.
