Tuning In is a unique feature-length documentary about the phenomenon of spirit channeling. Channeling is a practice dating back to antiquity wherein an individual, usually in a trance state, makes a psychic connection with a nonphysical being. The individual making the connection, known as the channeler, is then able to act as a dimensional go-between in bringing other humans in contact with the entity, as well as interpreting messages from the entity.

In the end, Radha, Laxmi's caring aunt, tragically loses her life, leaving behind a message that all human blood is the same-hot and red. Directed with a strong social message, Ragat questions why caste discrimination still exists in Nepali culture and calls for equality and justice.

The forest barely lives and this only due to a reserve that the Totobiegosode people achieved in a legal manner. They call Chaidi this place which means ancestral land or the place where we always lived and it is part of the "Ayoreo Totobiegosode Natural and Cultural Heritage". Before this, they had to live through the traumatic situation of leaving the territory behind and surviving a war. It is the story of the Ayoreo Totobiegosode people, told from the point of view of Asoja, a bird-god with the ability to bring an omniscient- temporal gaze, who becomes the narrator of this story developed in a crossing between documentary and fiction.
