While Manolo, employed in a tourism agency in the Costa del Sol, enjoys the foreign babes, his wife suffers at home in the city. Advised by a girlfriend she plans revenge by simulating pregnancy. At first, Manolo is very happy to have a baby. However, soon he realizes that he cannot be the father since he was not in the city at the time of conception.

Daniela and Fouad live in Gubbio, and they both come from the sea: she is from Bari, he is from Casablanca. Their bodies have suffered hardships and alcoholism. Hello explores changes in two people’s working lives: a Mexican trash picker who separates and collects recyclable materials from landfills to sell by the kilo, and a German freelance computer-animation designer working for the advertising industry in Berlin. The double interview is controlled and manipulated by a computer-generated severed hand which Maria describes as an object once discovered in the trash while working in the violent northern town of Mexicali. This CGI hand was in turn produced by Max, who was born with no arms, and sought refuge in computer-imaging as a means to operate and manipulate a digital reality.

Life of a Mutt(sr)

Through seven scenes, the film follows the life and destinies of stray dogs from the margins of our society, leading us to reconsider our attitude towards them. Through the seven “wandering” characters that we follow at different ages, from birth to old age, we witness their dignified struggle for survival. At the cemetery, in an abandoned factory, in an asylum, in a landfill, in places full of sorrow, our heroes search for love and togetherness. By combining documentary material, animation and acting interpretation of the thoughts of our heroes, we get to know lives between disappointment and hope, quite similar to ours.

A blind Asian-American woman lives with her son and daughter-in-law. The two women barely tolerate one another and the son, a doctor simply turns himself off to avoid any confrontation with either. Into this environment, an armed intruder breaks in. He is eventually revealed to be an old family friend who was sent to prison for murdering his father, but he insists that the older woman's husband, now deceased, was the actual murderer. Slowly, all the characters have to explore past hidden secrets about themselves.
