Agustin, a widower who lives in a village in Aragon, where he is much loved by all neighbors, is lonely and decides to go to the big city, where his son, a famous doctor, lives with his wife and daughter. Agustineis received by his children with great coolness, as he does not fit in the environment in which they operate. The life of his son, his daughter-in-law, and even the maid is too sad for this simple town man.

Bill Harvey discovers a lost mine, rich with gold. Geraldine "Jerry" Howard has the claim to it left her by her father. Bill tells her that the death of the claimant, her father, makes a claim void. Infuriated, she goes to John Kenton, a crooked lawyer, for aid. Kenton sees an opportunity for wealth if he marries Geraldine, but Bill tells her that Kenton is only after her money. She gets more infuriated. While Bill and a posse are raiding an immoral cabaret, Kenton raids the Paradise freight depot to steal the money. The depot catches fire and Kenton shoots his henchman to save himself. The town and Geraldine think Kenton is a hero. It is up to Bill to prove otherwise.

Director Zhang Jiarui's new film, "Mi Cheng," formerly called "Distant Thunder," has been nominated for the upcoming Beijing College Student Film Festival, Ent.sina.com reported. After a successful premiere at the 34th Hong Kong International Film Festival, "Mi Cheng" received a great deal of attention from the audience. A thoughtful and humanistic film, it includes a deep discussion of humanity with tight links to reality. The intense story line and sad ending made a deep impression on the audience. Famous critic and dramatist Peigi Chiu and viewers alike were impressed with the performances of the lead trio, Huo Siyan, Ge Siran and Guo Xiaoran. The film is a horror, mystery and love story that uses special filming techniques to tell the uncanny and thrilling story of happiness and sadness among lower class people. It took two years for director Zhang Jiarui to finish this film.

This short documentary introduces us to the Massaro family of Thunder Bay, Ontario, and highlights some of the activities they partake in: roller hockey, drag-racing, flying, gymnastics, hunting, shooting, fishing... and even hand-making brooms. This film was made by students of the Thunder Bay Community Film/VTR project, a collaboration between the Challenge for Change< program and Town Talk, a citizen's group from the Lakehead.

This star-studded event will mark the conclusion of the Invictus Games presented by Jaguar Land Rover. With a special headlining performance by Foo Fighters, the concert will also feature sets from Kaiser Chiefs, Ellie Goulding, Ryan Adams, The Vamps, Rizzle Kicks, James Blunt, Diversity and Military Wives Choirs. The 26,000 capacity space will utilise the famous back-drop of the Stadium and The ArcelorMittal Orbit to feature some of the world’s greatest acts, which also includes the medal presentations for the inspirational winning competitors. With doors opening at 2:30pm and the show starting at 4:20pm, the multi-artist event will have highlights broadcast by the BBC.
