Rameez Shaikh is an emerging filmmaker and director from Goa, with a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and Journalism at Don Bosco College, Panjim. With a deep passion for visual storytelling and a keen eye for emotion-driven narratives, Rameez has directed several short films and academic projects that reflect his evolving vision and dedication to the art of cinema. His most notable work, The Awakening, which he also co-acted in, earned critical acclaim as the winner in the South Asia Regional Category at the Don Bosco Global Youth Film Festival. The film was further recognized with an official selection at the Waves International Short Film Festival Goa-India 2.0, showcasing Rameez's ability to connect with audiences across both regional and international platforms.Blending creativity with discipline, Rameez approaches every project with a strong respect for the craft of filmmaking.
