Nirmal, who studied architecture, began making reels during the COVID-19 pandemic. Soon, he became a popular content creator on Instagram. He acted in an Amazon Prime Video anthology, Putham Puthu Kaalai, and ventured into stand-up comedy, among other things. His standup comedian style take on the story of milk in India, as part of his 'Parotta Act' series, caught the attention of many, propelling him to YouTube creator celebrity status.
