This show represents the beginning of another era for the Star troupe with the emergence of the troupe's top star, Makoto Rei, and a fresh start led by a new top pair comprising of herself and Hitomi Maisora. The Emblem of Venezia - At the beginning of the sixteenth century the Republic of Venezia was the most prosperous country in Europe. In 1527, Alvise Gritti, a thirty year-old of great wealth returned to his homeland Venezia from Constantinople. Alvise was a proud man like his father and he could not bear to be excluded from the highest ranks of society... Junction 24 - At dawn in a big city a youth sings about his loneliness. The train station clock mysteriously begins to move anticlockwise. The drab station is transformed into a showy revue theater. The entire cast bounds joyfully out onto the stage to sing and dance.

Here, wearing a Divan watch too extravagant for the setting, sits one man: Al Capone. As everyone knows, he’s an American gangster. In a cell arranged especially for him, he gulps down law-prohibited bourbon, next to him sits the script for a new Hollywood screenplay that is in production. The title is “Scarface.” It is plain that that word represents Al. Before the writer of this script, Al begins to tell the lesser known “truth of Al Capone.”

Yoshitsune and the Fox Spirit: A Cherry Blossom Fantasy(ja)

Yoshitsune was once a hero, a genius strategist who defeated the Heike. But his older brother Yoritomo regarded him as dangerous and betrayed him, and now Yoshitsune is on the run. After they are suppressed, the radicals merge into an underground organization that calls itself “The Red Army League.” At MI6, the pinnacle of British Secret Intelligence Service, secret agent James Bond, code name “007,” receives an order to neutralize a Soviet spy known as Le Chiffre. Bond’s mission is to use his gambling skills to beat him and cut off his source of funds, and then to take him alive and force him to divulge any information he possesses.

This is the story of a poet who lived at the time of the French Revolution. The poet's name was Andrea Chénier. He lived and died amongst love and bloodshed. The numerous words of truth spun by this revolutionary poet became poems for eternity. Even today, they continue to shine light on the hopes that rest in people's hearts. The tidal wave of the times, when everyone believes that the ideal kind of society has arrived, will in time move in the wrong direction. Ironically, Andrea and Maddalena will be joined together by a thing called love. Idealism, which has been pushed to the forefront of reality, is toying with Gérard's life. Before long, a raging torrent that provides an omen of the tragedy to come will overwhelm all three of them.

Takarazuka Flower Troupe 2007 performance. Based on Edogawa Rampo's novel The Black Lizard, which has had many movie and play adaptations. The Takarazuka version will be brimming over with period romance, set at the turn of the Taisho/Heiwa Eras. As the tale of thrills and suspense between the gloomy and reclusive great detective Akechi Kogorou and the master of disguise and female thief the Black Lizard (who is forever switching between western clothing and kimono) unfolds, it comes to a conclusion different from Mishima Yukio's version. Tuxedo Jazz was the associated revue show.

Forty Boys and a Song is a 1941 short documentary film directed by Irving Allen. The film is about the Robert Mitchell Boy Choir, consisting entirely of boys aged 8 to 14. The choir, run by organist Robert Mitchell, appeared in Hollywood productions for over thirty years. Accordingly, the boys were recruited to go to a special school where they would go through regular classroom instruction until 1 PM, after which they'd do choir practice. The kids are also shown performing in a church on Sunday as well as camping, as they are all part of the same Boy Scouts troop. The film was nominated for an Oscar for Best Short Subject, One-Reel.
