Meanwhile, Benyamin falls in love with Ellya, an old spinster, the daughter of Mr. Hamid, the owner of the rented house where Benyamin lives. This relationship is not approved by Mr. Hamid who considers lenong players to be lowly in dignity. When Mr. Hamid begins to have a crush on Mimin, Benyamin uses this as a weapon to soften Mr. Hamid's heart.
