I turned my gaze to the various events in daily life and made this filmic diary in a manner as if confessing my feelings. Of course, since I was making the film, I wanted to depict these feelings and events with tricky techniques. I used various methods to shoot photographs of a relative's wedding, the landscape I see from window of my house, commemorative travel photographs and the like frame-by-frame.

The Battle For Survival(en)

Set in a near future where overpopulation, pollution, war, famine, and anarchy have been a decades long plague. Gladiatorial arenas are commonplace, designed to help with overpopulation and unemployment, promising major rewards. As a mysterious fungal outbreak rips through the globe, the world is flipped upside down as friends quickly become ravenous scourge. The story follows a mysterious leader nicknamed ‘Top Trooper’ and his mission to guide a safe zone on its daily struggle against starvation, scourge, and a mysterious syndicate which slowly reveals itself more and more. As time progresses it becomes apparent that there is something extremely strange and dangerous looming behind the scenes.

In a bleak hillside hotel, strange events are afoot, as something surprising drifts in on the mist… In this gorgeously made stop motion Animator, a lonely performer falls in love with a walrus. But her dreams of singing success may prove hopeless, as the audience has other plans. A deeply surreal but profoundly heartfelt film about finding your inner voice.

This early effort from Dutch prankster Sietske​ Tjallingii is a stop-motion miniature in which one mean hombre rides a 20th Century steed. Her later films would often feature the filmmaker herself as Bettie Page-inspired alter-ego "Miss T."
