Vincent, a young, homeless drug addict, stumbles through a wet and dark street in a very awkward state. He walks inside an abandoned house to sleep for the night, as thunder rumbles and the skies promise a storm. Inside, everything is silent, and he throws himself on an old chair, falling asleep instantly. It is when he wakes up that madness falls on him. The house is not all it seems, and Vincent is forced to relive his past, a past he has tried desperately to suppress and deny with drugs and denial for most of his life.

One of the two earliest horror films ever made. This film is presumed lost. In this black comedy scene, the bottom falls out of a coffin, the corpse tumble out, and is jolted back to life. Short sequences like this, as well as street scenes and dancing geisha girls were the main subjects of early Nippon cinema, pioneered by Shiro Asano and Shibata Tsunekichi from 1897 onwards. Uncle and nephews take turns dancing the jitterbug with her while trying to get rid of each other. In their final effort the three younger Ducks feed their uncle maize in the process of becoming popcorn. The process is completed within Donald himself who continues to move wildly around the house while maintaining the appearance of dancing. The short ends with an impressed Daisy showering her new lover with kisses
