Overview
Joana is a young university student who recently discovered herself as a lesbian. In one of the traditional lunches at the house of his grandmother Clarissa, his cousin Joaquim unleashes the question that gives title to the film. The question shocks not only Clarissa, but also Joan, who, to avoid facing the question and its repercussions, detaches herself from that moment and begins to revisit her childhood memories in that house. A figure stands out among these memories: that of his aunt Carolina, a great friend of his grandmother, who was always around. Little by little, Joan understood that the constant presence of Carolina was not just by chance, and did not mean to her grandmother Clarissa just a friendship. This walk through the past awakens Joana to the possibility of sharing more with her grandmother than she had imagined.

In the middle of a broadcast about Typhoon Yolanda's initial impact, reporter Jiggy Manicad was faced with the reality that he no longer had communication with his station. Producer/director Albert Zugsmith's acid-therapy "comedy," complete with a tinted trip sequence "in hilarious LSD color." A suicidal film star named Honey Bunny is sent by her producer to a rest home run by an unhinged Dr. Horatio, who gives his patients LSD as a cure. The wacky patients include female impersonator Skippy Roper as an effeminate dress designer, a midget, a fat lady, and lots of actors, directors, and producers, including Zugsmith himself.
Extirpator of Idolatries(es)
The police detective Waldo, of immersed and circumspect disposition and temper, investigates several crimes associated with indigenous rituals that occur in some regions of the Peruvian Andes. There we find a boy and a girl who are about to enter puberty and begin to interact with certain mythical beings, a supernatural belief very common in many Andean villages. A sinister character, pretending to be on a mission of faith, but imbued with religious dogmatism and intolerance, interrupts this peaceful scene as he casts an ominous shadow over these ancient Peruvian beliefs. Although Waldo's boss considers him inferior and distrusts his methods (a form of discrimination), the policeman continues his efforts to capture the "Extirpator of Idolatries.¨ At the same time, Waldo will resolve his own inner conflict which has troubled him all his life.
