WCW Slamboree '94 took place on May 22, 1994 from the Philadelphia Civic Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Assassin, Ole Anderson, Harley Race, Ernie ladd, The Crusher, and Dick the Bruiser were all inducted into the WCW Hall of Fame. The main event was a singles match for the vacant WCW International World Heavyweight Championship between Vader and Sting. Originally Rick Rude was to challenge Vader for the title, however he suffered a career ending back injury and was replaced by Sting. The Nasty Boys faced Cactus Jack & Kevin Sullivan in defense of their WCW World Tag Team Championships. Ric Flair defended the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Barry Windham. 4 matches took place on the under card.

No Surrender (2008) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion that took place on September 14, 2008 at the General Motors Centre in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. It was the fourth event under the No Surrender name, TNA's first PPV to take place outside of the United States, and the ninth event in the 2008 TNA PPV schedule. Mayura challenges an arrogant wrestler and defeats him. Though never formally trained he has only learned techniques of wrestling by observing others. As a Brahmin he is required to study Vedas yet he is deeply interested in martial arts. Ranga Jetti, the premier wrestler in Kanchi, takes him under his wing and trains him. One day while observing the training of Pallava princes Mayura gets into a fight with and thrashes Vishnugopa, the Pallava prince, earning his enmity. Mayura has to flee Kanchi as per the advice of Ranga Jetti to escape from pursuing Pallavas. He also then learns that he is in fact the son of Raja Chandravarma, the Kadamba king who was deceitfully killed by the Pallava king, Sivaskandhavarma. Upon learning of his illustrious lineage, Mayura dedicates himself to overthrow the Pallava yoke. Returning to Banavasi in the guise of a merchant Mayura builds an army and conquers both Banavasi and the Telugu speaking regions around Srishaila, thus building a vast kingdom.

The 2024 Hard To Kill was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling. It took place on January 13, 2024, at the Palms Casino Resort in Paradise, Nevada. It was the fifth event under the Hard To Kill chronology, the first event promoted under the TNA name to broadcast live since Bound for Glory in 2016.
