Vipal Monga's first feature-length documentary chronicles an unprecedented series of concerts performed in February 2005 by the legendary jazz composer Lawrence D. Butch Morris. The concerts were in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Conduction, Butch's revolutionary technique for live music-making. Butch put on 44 performances in 28 days with 85 musicians pulled from all across New York's musical community. In this experimental short film, Kristian Day collected artwork created by the public. He found the majority of the pieces at "Sharpie marker demonstration tables" and it took almost a year to collect the artwork. All pieces were created by chance with no prior thought. He originally intended on using the photos for a collage canvas piece, however after deciding that a short film would stand the test of time longer, he took individual shots of over 30 pieces. The drone music was created using a variety of simple sound generators & tapes that are being manipulated by delays, filters, and reverberation effects.

Georgswerder is a small "underdeveloped" district in Hamburg, Germany. This film follows four residents to explore the problems and potentials of the neighborhood - and uses hybrid animation to make their visions come to life. This is a commissioned work by Studio Ranokel for "Q8". Q8 does social work in the context of neighborhood development. The film portrays Georgswerder and its challenges in order to make it more visible in general AND specifically for Q8 to have something to show to potential partners that might not be very familiar with Georgswerder.
