Bound for Glory IV was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion that took place on October 12, 2008 at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. It was the fourth event under the Bound for Glory name and the tenth event in the 2008 TNA PPV schedule. The show was promoted as TNA's premier PPV event and their equivalent to the rival World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) WrestleMania. Eight professional wrestling matches and one untelevised match were featured on the event's card, four of which were for championships.

The main event was for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship between defending champ Scott Steiner, Sid Vicious, Jeff Jarrett, and Animal in a Four Corners match. The main match on the undercard was between Totally Buffed (Lex Luger and Buff Bagwell) and Goldberg and DeWayne Bruce, in a retirement match. SuperBrawl Revenge took place on February 18, 2001 from the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. This was the last Superbrawl event and the penultimate WCW pay-per-view before the WWF purchased WCW in March 2001. Along with SuperBrawl IV, it was one of only two SuperBrawls never released on home video. The main event featured Scott Steiner defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Kevin Nash in a Falls Count Anywhere Two out of Three Falls Retirement match. Greed was the final PPV event from World Championship Wrestling (replacing the promotion's March PPV event Uncensored which was held from 1995 to 2000). It took place on March 18, 2001 from the Jacksonville Memorial Coliseum in Jacksonville, Florida. The PPV event took place eight days before the final episode of Monday Nitro. The main event of Greed was Scott Steiner defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in a Fallas Count Anywhere match against Diamond Dallas Page.
