He had a poor, squalid, dirty look. Pelayo and his wife, Elisenda, decided that this man was a foreign sailor who was shipwrecked, but they still decided to call a neighbor. She said that this was an angel who was sent to take care of a sick child of this family. And they left the old man in their coop. Soon the whole village knew about the appearance of this strange creature.
