    Ellie Goulding - Live@Home - Full Show

  • Overview

Live@Home is the first web music program created to allow the world's best artists to come and play their songs in a beautiful house. These intimate performances are recorded without an audience, aiming to make artists feel at home. Once every three months, Live@Home moves to an exceptional location for other intimate performances. Ellie Goulding is an English singer-songwriter, instrumentalist whose music finds the balance between electro-pop and indie folk. She released Lights -- a sparkling debut album in 2010. In 2012, she returned with the album "Halcyon", electro-pop-infused, which is now a worldwide success. She wins British Female Artist prize at The Brit Awards 2014. Tracklist: Burn (Live); Anything Could Happen (Live); I Need Your Love (Live); Lights (Live); How Long Will I Love You (Live)

Jerry almost never made it to Austin City Limits. He cancelled one appearance, and only weeks before this recording on October 17, 1983, his wife died in a freak swimming pool accident at their home. But he did make it, and what we have here is one of the most amazing performances ever to go down on the ACL stage. Throughout the day he was a perfect gentleman, showing up on time and acting very graciously to one and all, but once he hit the stage, all hell broke loose. The songs speak for themselves; they re ALL here. For many years later, Jerry Lee would carry a tape of this show to play for friends (and himself, many times). When producers tried to book him again for a return performance, the response was, Jerry Lee doesn't think he could possibly do a better show. This DVD captures all the hits and more, and includes songs that were never aired on the original TV broadcast.

Voodoo Lounge Uncut presents for the first time the full, unedited show filmed on November 25th 1994 at Miami's Joe Robbie Stadium. Originally directed by the legendary David Mallet, this new version features 10 performances omitted from it's previous release in the 90s, and the full show is now presented in it's original running order. With its ahead-of-its-time cyberworld staging, guest appearances from Sheryl Crow, Robert Cray and Bo Diddley, and a setlist combining classic tracks with material from the Voodoo Lounge album, this phenomenal show can now be enjoyed as originally intended. As an added bonus, all visual formats feature five tracks from an earlier date on the Voodoo Lounge Tour that weren't performed in Miami - making this the definitive record of The Rolling Stones' Voodoo Lounge Tour.
