Overview
It’s a fifth appearance at Montreux for this singer in from the cold who has her musical family to keep her warm. A key figure of contemporary jazz, Diana Krall bewitches with her rounded contralto timbre and her piano rambles, for which she’s been awarded several Grammies. In her most recent album, Glad Rag Doll (2012), Diana mischievously extracts the charm from ’20s standards and polishes them up as though they had just been invented yesterday. I'll Get By is an updated remake of the 1940 20th Century-Fox musical Tin Pan Alley. William Lundigan and Dennis Day play William Spencer and Freddie Lee respectively, successful song publishers who make hits out of such numbers as "I Got a Gal in Kalamazoo", "Deep in the Heart of Texas", "You Make Me Feel So Young", "There Will Never Be Another You", and other favorites (the rights to all of these songs were conveniently held by 20th Century-Fox). The partnership has some hard times, especially during the feud between ASCAP and the radio networks, when only public-domain songs like "I Dream of Jeannie" were permitted to be broadcast.

Described by theatre critic Alongkorn Parivudhiphongs as captivating bubblegum entertainment, Ruk Jub Jai: The Romantic Musical was an unanticipated hit, with a total of 49 performances at Muang Thai Rachadalai Theatre. More than 60,000 theatre-goers went to the successful theatrical production, while the movie version of the play premiered on November 22. It was shown at Major Cineplex cinemas. This was the first time in Thailand that a stage production had been adapted for the silver screen. The film was made by GTH Studio, who used special equipment to capture the live performances on stage. They also filmed some scenes without an audience. The film version of the romantic comedy allows more close-ups of sentimental scenes between Sukrit Wisetkaew (Bie) and Nuengthida Sophon (Noona) in their respective roles as a singing superstar and a blind girl.
