Heroes of World Class(en)
In 1983 World Class Championship Wrestling and its franchise stars, the Von Erich brothers, were known around the world. A small Dallas based promotion running out of a shack of a venue, the Sportatorium, World Class was one of the most syndicated television programs in America, making the Von Erichs household names. Run by legendary wrestler Fritz Von Erich, a.k.a. Jack Adkinsson, World Class made his oldest sons, Kevin, David and Kerry, three of hte biggest stars in the world of wrestling. Little did anyone know that just as the Von Erichs and World Class were reaching worldwide stardom they would begin a downfall that would cast a full eclipse on their meteoric rise to fame. Directed by Brian Harrison who, as a ten year old in 1983, watched on television as wrestling's world of staged combat between good and evil took a sharp turn into a surreal and tragic reality.

Back in May of this year, there was a brief panic when all of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's Social Media changed over to Bar Wrestling. Many feared the worst, that PWG had folded or been re-branded. But as it turned out, it was because PWG co-founder and former owner Joey Ryan was starting his own promotion, called Bar Wrestling, and still had control of the old accounts. PWG resumed life as normal, and on June 8, Bar Wrestling launched it's first event in Baldwin Park, California.

Elimination Chamber was an upcoming professional wrestling PPV event produced by WWE. The fifth annual Elimination Chamber event took place on February 23, 2014, at the Target Center in Minneapolis. The main event was the Elimination Chamber match, in which Randy Orton defended the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against John Cena, Sheamus, Antonio Cesaro, Christian, and Daniel Bryan. The secondary main event was a 6-Man Tag team match between The Shield and the Wyatt Family. This match was considered the highlight of the PPV and received glowing reviews from several media sites. Title Match Network will be holding its fifth Ladies Night Out event this Saturday. Ladies Night Out is a recurring all-women show that began last February. Due to its success, TMN decided to run three more editions in 2018 alone. WSU returned on Saturday to present Breaking Barriers 5 from the Colossal Sports Academy at the Coliseum in Voorhees, NJ. The Premier Promotion in North American Women's Wrestling ushered in a new era at the event. In addition to the many new additions to the roster, ALL three championships were on the line. First, Maria Manic defended the WSU Tag Team Championships with an unlikely partner against unlikely opponents. Then, Kiera Hogan returned to defend the Spirit Championship against Jordynne Grace. Finally, the main event saw Mercedes Martinez defend the WSU World Championship against Tessa Blanchard. All this and so much more went down on Saturday at Breaking Barriers 5.
