The story of the Talking Light piece is basically that of an older man who questions, not only decisions he made as a teenager, but also if the events he remembers from that time happened at all. "A dead infant clutching a ring with an inscription the teenager cannot read" is the stuff of dreams. The following stories in the show may or may not shed light on the inscription. Questions remain unanswered. The Residents study death, not as a horrific end, but as the ultimate question that we all ask while wondering if any of it is even real. The Dresden Dolls: Return to Paradise(en)
In November 2017, The Dresden Dolls played three sold-out shows commemorating the 40th Anniversary of The Paradise Rock Club, a venue deeply tied to the band, which notably hosted their debut album release in 2003, and aforementioned Live: In Paradise DVD filming amidst the Dolls’ thirty-one date tour with Nine Inch Nails, among others. Return to Paradise was filmed on November 6th, 2017, the final night of the band’s three-show run, and is a dedication to the continued love and spirit of Dresden Dolls fans, and venues like The Paradise Rock Club which play such an important role as the foundation of live music communities. Although plans for a full-scale Dresden Dolls tour have been temporarily postponed, this film shows the band doing what they love best and leaving it all on the stage.

EJD's Teen Dances - a northwest rock n' roll story" is an amazing tale about a middle school math teacher answering the pleas of his young students, "there's nothing to do on the weekend". A northwest entertainment phenomenon was born when Ed Dougherty began organizing teen dances at the local armory auditorium in Salem Oregon. EJD Enterprises was soon formed and brought to town most of the biggest groups of the 1960's and 70's including The Dave Clark Five, Sonny & Cher, Paul Revere & The Raiders, Steppenwolf, Three Dog Night, The Doors and countless others. Ed Dougherty's method of operation which provided a safe place for teens to go and have fun made these dance/shows a huge success during this very special time in music history. His reputation of providing a safe, secure environment attracted artists in the entertainment world. His work as a respected concert promoter continued to grow into the next three decades to encompass the entire northwest region and beyond.
