Documentary about Sport Club Corinthians Paulista, focusing on the most difficult moment of the club, when it was demoted to the second division of Brazilian football in December 2007. The story is told from the testimony of fans - called Fiel Torcida - who suffered and were still supporting the team.

Murdered For Love? Samia Shahid(en)

In September 2014, Samia Shahid got married in Bradford, West Yorkshire. In July 2016, Samia went to Pakistan to visit family. Six days later, she was found dead. This film uses interviews with Samia's closest friends. Actors have been used to protect their identities, but some of the voices you hear are their own. The film contains dramatic reconstructions inspired by events in Samia's life. Social media, texts, photos and voice recordings are original.

This film highlights several trivia teams and how very differently they play the contest from the more serious teams to the teams who just get together to party. For most teams, Trivia is like an annual reunion where they can get together with family and friends and have fun doing something they all love.

This surreal abstract film falls into three sections, or movements, the first taking place on the ground, the second in the air and the third again on the ground. In the first movement various motifs or themes are introduced, which are again picked up and developed in the third movement. Six spheres, evolved in the first movement, become the sole subject matter–or “dancers”–of the second movement, which consists of a simple type of ballet using the floor-plan choreography or traditional ballet as a basis of interest.

András Schiff plays Bach(en)

Surely Bach’s French Suites, which he composed during his years at Cöthen (1717–1723), are among the finest inducements to practise that any teacher has ever made to a pupil. In this case Bach wrote them for his young wife, Anna Magdalena. The over-riding impression left by these suites is one of endearing tunefulness. Clavier-Übung II is a later collection of didactic keyboard pieces. It comprises two greatly contrasted works: the Italian Concerto and the Overture in the French Style. These performances admirably demonstrate the thoughtful and persuasive approach that András Schiff adopts when performing Bach. The dominant figure at the Grenoble Winter Games is Frenchman Jean-Claude Killy, whose three gold medals matched Toni Sailer's 1956 feat. The filmmakers bet on his winning streak, and include commentary from him as he prepares for each race. Another athlete, Marielle Goitschel, is treated insightfully on screen and wins the women's slalom. Ice dancing fans will appreciate the coverage of winner Oleg Protopopov and his partner Ludmila Belousova. President Charles De Gaulle was present for the spectacular Opening Ceremony.
