These ecosystems support more than 1,800 species but have been decimated by destructive bottom trawling fishing, which can flatten centuries-old coral structures in minutes. RAZOR’s Russell Beard meets Anastasia Miliou and her team of scientists at the Archipelagos Institute of Marine Conservation. They have been mapping coral to provide the hard scientific evidence needed to secure their long-term protection. Their work has led to the recent creation of a protected no-trawl zone around the Fourni Islands. Over the years the organization has developed into one of the Mediterranean's most respected marine research and conservation institutes, attracting a new generation of scientists tooling up for a future of fighting the colossal challenges facing our seas. Over 26 years, they have hosted over 27,000 young people from 43 countries.

Del and Rodney touch down in Miami, and hire a camper van. Very soon they run into trouble: it just so happens that Del is a dead ringer for notorious Mafia boss Don Vincenzo Occhetti, and is spotted by his sons in a bar. When the Trotters leave the bar, they discover their camper van has been broken into and all their possessions stolen. Packed chock full of interviews, clips and reminiscences both old and new, including the very tasty Joan Bakewell of the 60s. Sir David Attenborough's reign as controller of BBC TWO, from 1965 to 1973, is still thought of as the golden age of television. He was responsible for a number of programme strands that were, and many argue still remain, the high point of public service broadcasting. Match of the Day and Pot Black sat alongside comedy such as The Likely Lads and Not Only But Also. Horizon, Man Alive, One Pair of Eyes, Masterclass, The Forsyte Saga and The Money Programme set the standard for years to come. Sir Attenborough also commissioned series on a grand scale: Kenneth Clark's Civilisation and Jacob Bronowski's Ascent of Man remain two of the great creations of television.

The First Boys of Spring(en)
For parts of five decades, the immortals of America's National Pastime trained on baseball diamonds and "boiled out the alcoholic microbes" of winter in the thermal baths of Hot Springs, Arkansas. In 1886, The Chicago White Stockings were the first to trek south to Hot Springs, when the team's owner and manager decided the boys needed a place to practice and get ready for the season ahead. Other teams soon followed, including the Boston Red Sox, Pittsburg Pirates, Brooklyn Dodgers and many others. Hot Springs was "wide open" in those days, frequented by famous and infamous characters. And so came the greatest of the great, to play ball, for a month or so in late winter and early spring, including more than a third of all players enshrined in the National Baseball Hall of Fame at Cooperstown, New York. Babe Ruth, Rogers Hornsby, Cy Young, Honus Wagner-the best who ever played the game-all worked out here.
