Overview
A documentary on the Orthodox Church in Ukraine. The Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra is one of the oldest and most valuable treasures inherited from Kyivan Rus. It has always been revered worldwide as the most sacred place of Orthodoxy the cloister that the Blessed Virgin chose for Her abode. This film tells about the cloister‘s history, the architecture and interiors of all churches of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, the deeds of the Pechersk Saints and the monastery‘s present day.
