After wandering aimlessly, Panji met an old warrior who asked for his help to chase a bandit who had seized a sacred heirloom that was said to be able to eliminate the power of black magic. Panji accepted the offer that dragged him into a long war between two kingdoms and revealed the reality of his dark past.

Snarf: Butterfly Blues(en)

Snarf is in charge of watching Baby Lion-O. When a butterfly catches Baby Lion-O's attention, he follows it through town, narrowly avoiding disaster along the way. Snarf does his best to catch up with and save Baby Lion-O, but ends up suffering the consequences that Baby Lion-O escapes. At the end of the day, when Snarf believes he failed by losing Baby Lion-O, the butterfly returns, along with Baby Lion-O. King Claudus congratulates Snarf on a job well done and appoints him as Baby Lion-O's personal caretaker. As Snarf prepares Baby Lion-O for bed, several butterflies appear, much to Baby Lion-O's delight, and to Snarf's chagrin.

Living Above the Mouse's Ear(en)

A short film created by Duane Palyka and Hank Grebe, artists and animators of the lab. It was a joint effort between the Computer Graphics Lab and the 2D animation studio, which was originally founded for the production of NYIT's 1975 film Tubby the Tuba. Animators a part of that team include John Gentilella and Francis Glebas. Mouse's Ear was mostly animated on paper before the drawings were scanned and lined, colored, and composited digitally. The film was originally presented to Vestron Video in 1985 or 1986 for possible distribution, however it was rejected and never saw a public release or screening.
