ABYSS, the latest viral film from Louder Than Eleven, provides an insider’s look at rock climbing development. Exploration of secret, alpine climbing terrain high above Colorado’s Front Range has created a flurry of debate regarding the philosophy, secrecy and ethics of development. Culminating in Ben Spannuth’s FA of one of the world’s highest elevation 5.14s, ABYSS opens the floodgates of passionate debate within the climbing community. The scandal unfolds in this 48-minute piece, featuring such climbing talents as Paige Claassen, Matty Hong, Chris Schulte, Mayan Smith-Gobat, Ben Spannuth, David Wetmore, and Matt Wilder and narrated by Jon Glassberg. A spectacular live rock climb broadcast from the daunting overhanging cliff face at Sron Uladail on the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides. Dougie Vipond joins leading climbers, Dave MacLeod and Tim Emmett, as they attempt a first ascent of an extreme new route, which promises to stretch their physical endurance and skill to the limit. With absolutely no guarantee that they will be able to conquer the route, and the huge physical and technical challenges involved, this promises to be a unique and compelling live event. Leading Scottish hillwalker Cameron McNeish will also introduce features reflecting the cultural, linguistic and historic importance of the location on Harris and also on its outstanding natural history and landscape.

The Summit is a 2012 documentary film about the 2008 K2 disaster directed by Nick Ryan. It combines documentary footage with dramatized recreations of the events of the 2008 K2 disaster. On the way to and from the summit, eleven climbers died during a short time span creating one of the worst catastophes in climbing history. Much of the documentary footage was captured by Swedish mountaineer Fredrik Sträng. Sträng was planning to do a Documentary which was aborted due to the fact that he did not reach the summit. The footage was still valuable to help solving what really did happen since all the climbers had different stories about what happened.

A documentary which follows the 2004 Catalan expedition that made the second ascent of the ‘Magic Line’ on K2. After the inevitable lengthy battles with weather and adverse conditions, one team member reaches the summit and safely descends the Abruzzi Spur, but for the rest of the team, the retreat back down the Magic Line is a nightmare that ends in tragedy.

For one last time, they want to prove to all their friends and followers that they can still handle extremely difficult routes. It is their last big goal and for this they chose an incredibly steep wall in the Alps that they have not yet been able to conquer. This is part of what is perhaps the most difficult route in the Alps, the " Karma " route. The film also portrays the Huber brothers outside the world of mountains and climbing. The viewer will also get to know them as musicians and they will talk about the past, long-gone successes and failures. In addition to a very personal story, you will also see never-before-seen 3D images of extreme beauty and depth.
