Three suitors, three princes, vie for the hand of Princess Lejada. But she rejects them all. The offended suitors decide to punish the proud princess and offer her an unknown young man as a suitor of noble birth. But he is a poor shepherd who falls in love with the princess, and she with him. However, he must not reveal his true identity. He promises to remain silent and do as he is told. In the end, however, he confesses to the princess who he really is. This enrages the princes and suitors... The theme of the fairy tale is loosely based on a Hindu myth belonging to the field of Indian religious literature and dealing with the fates of gods and earthly heroes. The main character is the Hindu goddess Kali, a symbol of maternal instincts and cults. The second hero is her son, a young shepherd who, at the end of the fairy tale, takes his mother's name in her divine honor. The story takes place in India in the 6th century BC.

A certain refinement is the framing of the whole story with a puppet show that moves into the played scenes. The film carries out a folk tale of a stupid castle lord who lives in a ruined castle, a fraudulent painter and a lazy shepherd.

Pardon-me Pete, the official groundhog of Groundhog Day, tells the story of Jack Frost, who falls in love with a beautiful young woman and begs Father Winter to make him human so that she can see him. His request is granted, but only on the condition that by the Spring he has a house, a bag of gold, a horse and a wife. But Jack finds that life as a human is more complicated than he thought.

When you say Mikuláš, everyone imagines a mysterious man with a white beard, a tall hat, and a staff in his hand, accompanied by an angel and a devil. Good children are given gifts, while naughty ones receive a stocking full of coal. Hurvínek and Mánička also waited impatiently for Mikuláš to arrive. However, the absent-minded Mr. Spejbl forgot about the gifts, so Hurvínek and Mánička decide to remedy this "outrage" by dressing up as the devil and St. Nicholas themselves and surprising their father and grandmother. But Grandma reminds Mr. Spejbl of the forgotten event, so Mr. Spejbl has to get a devil costume too... And what happens when there are more devils than there should be? A fairy tale full of suspense, but also songs and winter fun. And have you seen Mánička ice skating?
